Audio Idea is a pro sound company in Eugene, Oregon. Currently, Audio Idea has a couple systems suitable for small to mid-sized venues, either indoor or outdoor. (See the gear page for all the details.)

My name is Scott Van Den Elzen, and I do most of the mixing. My first experience on a sound board came in 1978, at eight years of age, when I ran a two channel wall-mounted system for the First Baptist Church in Greeley, Colorado. (One channel was for the preacher, and one for a choir soloist.) I've been hooked ever since.

I began taking my sound mixing hobby a little more seriously in 1985 when some High School pals and I started a rock band. I've also had regular gigs in churches since 1988.
